Vacuum smelting, precision machining
Category:
Detail
A vacuum smelting furnace used to smelt alloy steel, where coils are drawn and a repeatedly changing current is introduced to generate eddy currents in the metal inside the furnace. The heat generated by the eddy currents melts the metal. The advantage of using eddy current to smelt metal is that the whole can be carried out in a vacuum, which prevents impurities in the air from entering the metal, and high-quality alloys can be smelted. Vacuum smelting furnaces can also be heated by high-frequency induction heating. Vacuum furnace is generally composed of furnace, electric heating device, sealed furnace shell, vacuum system, power supply system and temperature control system.
